Welcome to the Flotilla 47-2, District 9WR Web Site

Flotilla Green Bay promotes boating safety as the volunteer component of the USCG.

Auxiliarists worked for many years from AuxOp Station Green Bay, near the mouth of the Fox River.  This was one of only a few remaining Stations in the United States carrying the "Auxiliary Operated" designation.  During 2018, the Station was designated Station (small) Green Bay, ending its historical run.  During 2019, record-setting high water levels flooded the Station, which contributed to a decision to decommission it.  The unit currently works with Station Sturgeon Bay to maintain a local presence in Green Bay.

The Flotilla area of responsibility extends from the navigable waters of the Fox River on the southern end to Second County Park (north of Oconto on the west side of the Bay of Green Bay), to Sugar Creek County Park on the east side of the Bay of Green Bay, including navigable tributaries and waterways.
